Yesterdays Fat Guy Mind and Body Makeover!

If you’ve been following my blog, for any length of time, you’ve heard me talk about The Master Key System. I’ve been trying to find a way to put The Master Key System in the hands of as many people as I can so I came up with the Yesterdays Fat Guy Mind and Body Makeover In a Box!

If I have learned anything in this weight loss journey, I have learned that if the mind is not strong then you can just about forget following through with your weight loss plan. The mind has to be in shape if the body is ever going to follow suit.

The Master Key System is the ULTIMATE mental workout. I take it with me wherever I go. When I reach the end of the last chapter (letter) I start over again. I never get tired of reading it and I always learn something and retain more each time I read it. If you apply what The Master Key System teaches about getting your mind and body under control, and do the exercises at the end of each chapter (letter) then you will accomplish your weight loss goal!

Inside the Mind and Body Makeover I have included both the full version of The Master Key System on both e-book and mp3. It’s on my iPod! I listen at the gym, in the car, wherever.

I’ve also included PLR content that you can use for your weight loss blog as well as severl .pdf documents and e-books covering everything from muscle training to treating depression.

The Mind and Body Makeover is a comprehensive box set containing a mother load of quality content and information. There is no charge for the Mind and Body Makeover, it’s yours, free of charge, by simply subscribing to my weekly newsletter.

Yesterdays Fat Guy Progress Report 9-8-09!

It’s nice to be at the stage where you can look in the mirror and see the progress made. Right now the weight is coming off steadily and I’m ready to see it go!

GBG Energy Matrix is fueling the workouts and functioning very well as a fat burner. I’ve never had much luck with fat burners so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I added Energy Matrix to my weight loss plan.

The gym has been the best addition to the plan. Once the gym was part of the daily routine the weight really started to come off. I’ve been pretty amazed at how well the body adapts to a fitness regimen. The first week in the gym was brutal. The first night I tried the elliptical machine I lasted about five minutes. Now I can do 30 to 40 depending on my workout plan for the day. For those who have been on the fence about getting back into exercise… just start. Your body will come around!

I know there are several schools of thought now concerning calories, but keeping track is working for me. It sure makes sense when it comes to weight loss, especially when you do the math.

Here’s to the continued progress of all who are working hard to lose weight and make a positive change in their life!

Cheers!

Does your body have a Skinny Switch?

Have you ever seen that late night infomercial for a weight loss program called “The Skinny Switch?” Now this is an interesting concept when it comes to a weight loss plan.

Long story short (as I stated in an earlier post) the concept seems to be, again, throwing your body a curve ball.

The science of keeping your body guessing, regardless of any program you chose, seems to developing some merit. There are several weight loss and fitness programs that are embracing this concept of “confusing” or “fooling” your body.

While I have not done any extensive, shall we say, testing on these concepts, based on recent events, I’m confident enough to say that I must agree that there is something to this.

In short (because I’ve already written on this) I plateaued one week, made a drastic, unplanned switch the next week and dropped another six pounds over a five day period. Did I trip my “Skinny Switch”? Did I “confuse” my body? Was it the implementation of a new weight loss product? Was it all of the above?

While I’m no expert, I will say that… in my opinion (and this is only an opinion) that it seems to me that it would be in the best interest of those wanting to lose weight that they pick one program and stick with it unless it just doesn’t work for you.

My wife has decided to get in the game and has chosen this as a weight loss program. I think now that she sees that I’m finally getting serious about it that it’s time for her to start dropping the pounds as well. While I have chosen to do it through calorie counting and exercise, she ordered “The Skinny Switch.” It will be interesting to see how that works out for her.

When I first saw the program on TV, I was tempted to try it out but when you think about the past and how I put the weight on (no exercise and over eating) that by reversing the habits (a lot of exercising and healthy eating) that weight gain would turn to weight loss. Turns out, so far, I was right.

To each their own I guess, but if you really want to lose weight then a simple turn from the current bad habits to new healthy habits still fits the bill better than anything.

Have a great day!
